Blog 15: Have You Ever

... felt like you didn't know exactly what you wanted to do or be in the future? I often feel that way. The thought of college life and getting more education isn't really on my mind, though it should be. I haven't stressed about college or what I plan to do after High School. I'm more relaxed about my future. This must be a bad thing. People think that at this age you must pick a career or aspiration and fulfill it. But I haven't chosen one. As a child I wanted to be a fashion designer or a model. But society tells me to get a high paying job that is more realistic, so I threw that dream away. It's hard to think about my future because I live for today not for tomorrow, next week, next month, or the years to come. I take life day by day. Whatever happens, happens. Maybe i'm just lazy, but in all honesty I can't see myself doing anything in the future, not because I plan on doing nothing, but because I honestly don't know what my future holds. Let's just pray i'm not homeless.

  1. You probably can't imagine what your life will be like in ten years but there is nothing wrong with taking it day by day.

  2. I don't think feeling lost is an uncommon thing. What you should really do though is follow where you think is right.
