Blog 11: Gone

It's so unreal that a teacher I had Sophomore year passed away over the weekend.

When I first heard the news via Twitter, I assumed it was all a joke. No news is ever reliable when found out on Twitter. When I found out the news was legit today during first period, I was shocked. I was even more shocked in finding out that it was a suicide. Knowing Mr.Dubois you could never tell if he was upset or bothered by anything. This man was genuinely happy and giddy. I couldn't have imagined that his life had to end this way.

The part that hurts me the most is that I saw him very recently, last Thursday. It's crazy that one day someone can be on this earth, and within the next few days... they're gone. It's crazy how life works. But of course this is something we must deal with every day. I guess it was his time. God Bless his family and friends.

"Life is like a long line, except at the end of it, there is no merry-go-round." -A quote from the King of Queens TV show.

  • There are no pictures I can put on this blog to make some type of statement. It's just depressing to have lost a teacher... There are no words or pictures to explain.
